South Central railway given 10 days to comply with Sec 4(1)(b)

South Central railway has been given 10 days to comply with Sec 4(1)(b) disclosures.

Members can use this order to to push other public authorities to comply with Sec 4.

My original Complaint under Sec 18 and the CIC order are attached to this post.

NOTE: From the order it seems that the CIC directive dated 15 Nov 2010 on Sec 4 has been stayed by the Delhi High Court on a petition filed by DoPT.

    You are lucky.

Had this been Raj- SIC, you would have got following reply on your direct complaint:

"Commission has decided in various cases it will not accept any appeal or complaint without availing option of Forst Appeal."

I recd the same kind of reply, when I made a complaint about no disclosure of PIO by Chief Secretary's office. I also pointed out to SIC that outdated list of PIOs (who donot exist) is displayed in state secretariat Reception.

    karira Recommends this.

Your CIC is the Ex-Chief Secretary of the State !
Do you think that he will ever take cognizance of anything against his ex colleagues ?
