Mental harrassment faced for Insurance Claim

Dear All,
I am facing mental harrasment for getting my insurance claim from TATA AIG Insurance for my vehicle (UP-14-AZ xxxx), which was submitted for repairing after I met with an accident on 27th May. Till date I did not get any response from the insurance company. I had settled the bill on 18th June because they informed me that TATA AIG does not offer cash less claim facility hence I had to pay the entire bill in cash. Surveyer sent his report on 21st June, since then I am tracking this claim. Now suddenly I got informed by customer care that your cheque had been despatched in name of the automobile company (where all repairing work had been carried out), neither surveyer nor the automobile company is admitting the mistake.
On further enquiring the same it was informed by customer care that this payment was done against cash less claim hence the cheque had been sent to the automobile company. Till date no tracking provided by TATA AIG for the cheque sent to AUtomobile company.

Can you please help me out on this.
