Restoration of scheduled Tribe status.

Dear sir,
I am Barak Ngwazah from Arunachal Pradesh. As I want to seek an information regarding to the restoration of our
ST status which we had been demanding for restoration more than three decades ago.But till date nothing has done to us and we are totally in the dark about the status of our ST's matter whether it is at the hands of central or at the hands of our state itself.Therefore sir please guide me and help me as I am gonna seek to it for information both at central and at our state.Thanks.

When I seek an information regarding to the Scheduled Tribe's matter to the central government, to whom should will have I to address, isn't to tribal affair or direct to RTI commissioner?

You may address your RTI Application to the Public Information Officer (PIO) of the Tribal Department or the Social Welfare Department, as the case may be. The State Information Commissioner is the Second Appellate Authority or the authority before whom you can submit Complaints regarding non-acceptance of RTI applications or non-supply of information by PIO etc.
