The clause (g) says that there is no obligation on the PIO to furnish such of those info which are given in confidence to the Public Authority by a person, if by so furnishing it may affect the life or physical safety of that person. Clause (h) says that the PIO is not obliged to give such info which may hinder the process of investigation or may come in the way of catching or prosecuting an offender. This is only a simplified explanation. This does not bring out the niceties of these provisions. For that one may have to study in detail. |
