RTI info about Zamindari Bonds Issued by RBI

I want to know from where i can get the details about zamindari Bonds, on which basis these were issued and to whom issued. The list of bond holders can i obtain.

Zamindari compensation Bonds were issued by RBI. You can seek the information by filing a RTI application with the PIO of RBI.

Details of PIO will be available on the website of RBIt, under the "RTI" link. Or simply call that office and ask "Who is the PIO in your office under the RTI Act 2005. I want to file a RTI application." ?


Your RTI Application has to be as per the RTI Rules and Fees for the Centre.

This information will obtain from lucknow rbi branch or head branch mumbai . Where i send qurry. And how i demand information for such please give a example qurry for me. I want such details for a particular village.

You cannot get names of investors etc. You can get total number state wise if maintained by RBI. I do not think RBI would be maintaining names by village-wise. Under RTI information will not be created. You can get only what is already on record and in the form it is available. Address of CPIO is as under:
