I am desirous to know about the rights/powers and duties of a Member of Legislative Assembly. I also wish to know whether under RTI can I ask an MLA to provide me information ?

MLAs are not under the RTI Act.Sponsorer
But you can file a RTI application with the PIO of the respective legislative assembly and ask for a copy of the records which list the rights and powers of MLAs.
