Hon. IC ordered TO provide the copy of Investigation report along with the
Annexures to the Appellant after duly severing the names of
the employees whose statements were recorded under section 10
of the RTI Act, 2005.

ON THE PLEA OF PA
Further, the Investigation report and the annexures, as
sought by the Appellant cannot be provided as they consist of
evidence in the form of statements made by the employees of
the Public Authority, disclosure of which might cause harm to
individual employees.

I think when enquiry has reached its finality and action too has been taken, than in the interest of justice, report containing statements of staff should be disclosed without hiding names of staff. Who knows if someone has given false statement, which can make mockery of justice.
