The Number of
RTI application in different State, central and Public sectior department will be definately 3 to 4 times (It may be more than 4 times also) during 2008 than the last year i.e. 2007.
Hence the cases to
CIC will also increase proportinatly.
So I suggest to fast the decisions at
CIC, there should be one Information Commissioner for every state appointed by
CIC to deal with appeals and complaints from applicants of respective states (i.e. the cases may be of State Department, Central Department or PSUs).
