short app fee made no intimation of rejection can i pay bal fee now

dear sir,

ii filed an rti app with HUDA gurgaon on may 15,12 with app fee of rs 10/- not knowing that the fee in haryana is rs 50/-.

i got no reply from pio within a month of receipt.

i filed a first appeal on june 28,12 not knowing the fee of rs 50/-which i found today.

my query is

1. if i do not get any response to first appeal within a month , should i filed a second appeal with the sic , enclosiing bal fee of rs 40/-

2. is it obligatory for the pio to seek additional fee ?

3. can the pio reject tthe app summarily without giving an intimation to the applicant.

kindly advise sir

By the time the matter comes up for hearing at the SIC - you will become a very old man !
Better file a fresh application with the correct application fee.
