    Appeal Hearing: No orders passed

I had gone on 1st appeal on the response of SAPIO of the Office of the Rent Controller, Kolkata. The appellate officer had promised certain action after my representation. However more than a month has passed since the hearing and I have not heard from them and it appears that no order has also been passed. I would like to know:[*]Whether it is manadatory for the appellate officer to pass a written order after the hearing.[*]Is it advisable to send reminders to the appellate officer or should I go for second appeal.

    Best Regards

The FAA has to pass an order within 30 days of receipt of the first appeal.
he can take another 15 days provided he records the reasons for the extra time taken , in the order itself.

If that time period is over then send a reminder to the FAA.
