1. Divisional Commissioner (head of 6 districts) a senior IAS officer report on DM (collector), SDO's report that a SC certificate had issued to a general categoy condidate. He was visited the place from other distant place and personally inquired. Finally advised the SDO to initiate cancellation procedure as per section 9 of WB SC&ST (Identification) Act, 1994 and Rule 3 so that the SC certifiacte either cancel or confirmed.

2. SDO informed that offender's brother SC certificate records have been trace out and the then SDO who issued the said certificate now present DM (Collector) of that district. So authenticity has confirmed and dorpped the matter by ignoring his higer authorities order.

3. H.E. the governor took pain to see my complaint letter and informed DM to act as per Divisional Commissioner report i.e. to initiate cancellaion procedure.

4. DM informed to Home Dept. WB through RTI that SDO sticked to his own point as earlier has confirmed SC certificate and dropped the matter by his own decision.
