On completion of 26 reckonable years of service an officer in the Army ( a Lt Col ) is to be permitted to wear the badges of the Colonel serving even if he had been rejected 3 times by the Selection Bd for the protion to the Rank of Selected Grade Colonel. In gist i am referring to eligibilities for wearing badges of the Rank of Colonel fondly called ( colonel ( TS). My question to RTI activists : Is there a DEPARTMENTAL PROMOTION COMMITTEE in this where a Lt Col with 26 years of reckonable service...
