1. How to Check PF balance ??

Online faciltiy is available for accounts maintained at PUNE, Ahmedabad, Chennai and Kerala regional offices of EPFO.

2. How to Check Transfer Status?

3. How to withdraw PF money & check the withdrawl status??

To withdraw PF money you need to fill the form no.19 (Employees's Provident Fund Scheme, 1952) and Form No.10C (Employee’s Pension Scheme, 1995) and you can withdraw the PF deposited to your account by your previous Employer. Forms available here: EPFO

4. How to withdraw PF money without involving/sign of employer.

If the company is closed and the employer is either not traceable or refused to sign the subscriber to the fund can still submit his claim for settlement through other means. It is the duty of the employer under the Act & Scheme to help Employees' Provident Fund organization to settle the Provident Fund dues of his employees. He has to complete the prescribed application within 5 days of receipt [para72 (5)] forms & hand over it to the member when he leaves the service. When a member finds it difficult to get the form attested by the employer, he can get the attestation of any of the following officer & send to the Provident Fund office:
1.Manager of a bank.
2.By any gazetted officer.
3.Member of the Central Board of Trustees./ committee/ Regional Committee (Employees'
Provident Fund Organization).
4.Magistrate/ Post/ Sub Post Master/ President of Village Panchayat/ Notary Public.

You did a great job. It is highly useful for every employee (and of course, employer too). I am working in such an organization where the a/c dept is not aware of Superannuation! I joined RTI because of the little knowledge of the people in my company on EPF, Superannuation etc and the support I could not get while working in my last company.

RTI is a great source of power, if properly used without fear!

Dear Members,
I was going thru most of the entries on ways to withdraw PF when the employer does not cooperate. Happy to note there are alternate paths but I was wanting to know how would one know the details that need to be filled in the forms (10C and 19) which only an employer would be able to fetch?
Could anyone help me with this? Thanks

Really a big Help. I would also like to draw every one's attention to the plight of employees who wants to withdraw through delhi pf office. firstly now thay have started drop boxes and stopped giving acknowledgement for withdrawl form reciepts and secondly lot of cases are pending since june and nothing has been done on that. i would urge few people to join me to meet commissioner or file RTI to solve this issue. Being an advocate we can surely do something about it.

My pf account was with PF office, A-2C, Sector 24,Noida.My previous company submitted all required application/form to Pf offce 10 month back and i have received acknowledgment slip too.Till now i haven't received any communication from PF office.Now i want to apply for RTI to PF office, Noida.On EPFO site there is no information about their "information officer".Can somebody help in knowing the details about to whom i should send RTI application and at what address?

I got pf withdrawal form signed from Bank Manager as my employer had refused to do so after my seeral request and even after form signing by Bank Manager the Form was sent to My employer M/s. J. Mahabeer & Co. Ltd., from Regional pf office Laxminagar, New Delhi. Now what should i do?? and i also lost my acknowledgemetn slip.

Just a simple query. Does transferring PF from old employer to new employer involve old employer at all?
I mean will the present employer send any kind of details or form 13 to old employer or just get the form straight to PF office?
