Shoe Don't Fit in this world...

This was a terrible trip for me to New Delhi. I had a plan to buy a good pair of shoes this time when the ministry called me up for a meeting. I was very enthusiastic to hear that delhi is running with sale and every shop owner would oblige you with a hefty discount.
The day I ended up with official session, I landed up in Shipra Mall hoping to get my pair of shoes. To my surprise, they did not had any for me. I ended up the whole two days at 2 other Malls, South Extension, Khan Market, Ansal Plaza, Caunaught place, and finally sarojini market.
I never knew that being big is so difficult to find a pair of shoe! one of the shop owner had a measurement of my foot and it came out to be 12.5 UK and 13.5 US
Any idea guys about any company manufacturing a pair for me!

Hi Kushal, shoe sizes above size 11(UK) are very rare and generally not stored .I was under the impression that UK sizes are only whole numbers eg;6,7,8 etc.,whereas US are in 1/2 progessive sizes as well, most understanding and well fitting are FR sizes 39,40,41 and so on.
I think in your case, you should be able to squeeze out a present/gift for youself from some reputed company like Bata, Metro etc as an advertisement of an extraordinary shape and size shoe. No harm trying ,good luck.Posted 05-05-2008 at 06:00 PM by opsharma

Re:Shoes
Why dont you try some local good shoe maker, and the problem is over. I know one in Nizamuddin, a good one.Posted 06-21-2008 at 11:10 PM by bbsharma

Very interesting. People suggest various ways for your shoes to fit but it is only 'the wearer knows where the shoe pinches.'Posted 10-27-2008 at 09:15 PM by Dr. M. Faiyazuddin
