Special Facility for Women RTI Users.

Posted 12-18-2008 at 11:44 PM by Dr. M. Faiyazuddin
Wemen get special concession in Income Tax and other areas of government. Sometimes jobs/seats are reserved for women in different departments of the govt. In the same way, special facility or provisions be made for women RTI users so that their share in this particular field can be increased. Speedy trail for the cases of women applicants be made and RTI fees should be abolished for them.

I would like to seek the opinions of our esteemed members in this regard also.
Thanks....

Contribute to RTI

Posted 12-12-2008 at 09:22 PM by Dr. M. Faiyazuddin
The success of RTI depends upon the dedicated citizens of the nation like Dr. Kushal.
Let us take a vow to have the same kind of dream as Dr. Kushal has.Only then we can think to reform India to the desired level. Our little contribution in the field of RTI can work wonders. We should use RTI and help fellow citizens to make maximum use of it.
Thanks.

Posted 12-03-2008 at 10:23 PM by Dr. M. Faiyazuddin
Any guideline or specific qualification has not been fixed for the appointment of PIOs resulting in several inefficient PIOs public has to come across daily and face undue problems. sometimes RTI users feel cheated and embarrassed due the humiliation he suffers after using RTI. Our govt. must think in this direction also.

Popularity of RTI

Posted 11-24-2008 at 09:55 PM by Dr. M. Faiyazuddin
The popularity of RTI can be rated by the fact that no other law in the country is as widely discussed as RTI. The laws relating to terrorism is more important but RTI overshadows this also. RTI has involved very common citizen regardless of his or her education. Hence, I expect the govt. of India to make the use of this law more easier and its disposal amazingly fast so that Indians feel proud to have this law.

Disposal of RTI cases, how fast ?

Posted 11-19-2008 at 10:06 PM by Dr. M. Faiyazuddin
The disposal of cases under RTI by the PIOs and the manner in which they are disposed off need proper evaluation by the govt. in order to monitor the success rate of this act. Most people do not use RTI simply because PIOs do not respond properly and follow up action is time taking and trouble some. A long que of cases can be seen pending for decision before the CIC or SICs of the states. Speedy disposal of RTI cases is required if this law is to achieve success in India.
Thanks.

Meaningful Education Required

Posted 11-13-2008 at 09:32 PM by Dr. M. Faiyazuddin
Education can never be useful unless it is cultivated by high moral values. We educate our children to focus the monetary gains in future and in between the lesson of learning moral values lag far behind. The result : educated people are adept in corrupt malpractices at various levels of their respective capacity. These educated persons are no less harmful to our society than the uneducated gentry who is an easy prey to misguidance.

Expansion of CIC/SIC

Posted 11-10-2008 at 10:32 PM by Dr. M. Faiyazuddin
Dear friends,
It is indeed a matter of concern for all that CIC/SIC takes years in the disposal of a case. Of corse, the CIC/SIC is heavenly burdened with a lot of complaints/Appeals but the delayed system of justice will loose its charm in due course of time. The CIC/SIC should be expanded by the govt. for the speedy disposal of cases. I can only hope that if any member of CIC/SIC or any authority of the govt. go through this blog, they can convey the feelings of the common man to the competent...

Method of buying Time by PIO.

Posted 10-30-2008 at 09:20 PM by Dr. M. Faiyazuddin
I narrate before you a very interesting situation with regard to my RTI application. I sought some information under RTI from a PIO but he did not reply even after the expiry of 45 days. I sent him a reminder. Then he sent his reply stating that the postman did not find my address and reported that no one lived at the address written by me. I again sent him a letter stating that if no one lived at the address written by me, then why did he intimate this information at the same address? This is how...

How to get PF Details?

Posted 10-28-2008 at 09:36 PM by Dr. M. Faiyazuddin

I, myself , have got all the details of my PF so far. The PIO will provide the photo copy of the original posting in the PF Register....

Stop Victimisation of RTI Users

Posted 10-28-2008 at 12:39 AM by Dr. M. Faiyazuddin
The awareness about RTI is increasing day by day among the general masses but still very limited number of people are using it. Most of the people are afraid of using it because they apprehend victimisation. One of my friends is an officer in the regional office of a nationalised bank of India where he is forced to work from 10.00am to 09.00 pm. He brings files to his home on Sundays and holidays. And he is not paid any extra allowances for extra work. I suggested him to use RTI regarding the timing...
