Hi Dear How can i see EPF Balance

As on today U cannot access your pf account on line or on phone. U need to apply to concerned pf office for balance in pf account. However, as per pf rules, employees should get statement of account every year from pf office through his employer. If U are not getting, pl complain in the letter addressed for balance of pf account. If no reply is received within 15/20 days, shoot rti application, by refering to my blog 'any thing pending with govt?' and other blogs/guide section on home page.

Need to my pf balance and at the same time the procedure to witdraw it

I was working for an IT Firm in Nungambakkam, Chennai,TN and resigned on Nov 1st 2007.

I have submitted the PF Withdrawl form to my employer while resigning.

Till today i did not get my PF final settlement amount check.

I have also filed a request on Grievance homepage, but did not get any response even after 1.5months.

I am right now out of India, can you guide me the best way
to my know my PF status.

If i need to fill the form RTI_application_for_Provident_Fund.pdf, kindly suggest to which address i need to send the same.

U have to ascertain if and when your previous emplooyer has submitted your withdrawal appln to PF Office, where your account is maintained. Based on this U can file RTI appln. Pl visit EPFO and U can file appln with PF office nearest to your previous employer. Pl mention what ever details U have to locate the matter in relevant PF office.

I applied for PF 5 months back, got acknowledgment letter ,
whenever I tried to check status in on line, it shows "Your Claim Not Received by this Office!",when I can expect this PF?will it take another 1 year??

I was working with citi group and resigned on Aug 06 and requested for pf payment but til date hvnt received any payment.

I got a letter stating that the cheque was posted but returned back to them how am i suppose to get the cheque back.

Based on the advise posted on this blog, I filed an RTI application for settlement of my PF a/c with APFC, Kolkata, on Feb 02, 2009.

After dilly dallying for almost 2 months, I received a letter from them asking me to file the claim again in Form 19, further asking me to get it attested by the ex- employer.

Also, in respone to the RTI application, I received a one line response stating that my claim for refund was returned on 04.08.2006 (which i never received) without giving any reasons for rejection.

My queries are :
Is it necessary to file the claim form attested by ex-employer? Its been 3 years I quit the organisation and I have no more acqaintances left in the organisation.

Also, how can I approach the first appelate authority i.e. do i have to file another RTI application with him and what formalities i have to follow for that. (fee etc.) ?

How to find Establishment Code?

One can not know his balance on line. One can visit PF Office and on line find the status of your withdrawal application status. For withdrawal, u have to go to employer, fle application, and submit after giving undertaking in the withdrawal form the for the last 60 days u r not contributing or working with a PF registred company. Then hand over the application , obtain receipt. PF Dept is supposed to refund ur money in 30 days

I am working as IT manager in a Pvt. Ltd. firm. When I asked to my PF consultant to provide me my account detail / receipt. he informed that Employee at PF office is asking for bribe then he will provide me my PF receipt & balance. I am unaware about my PF balance whether they are having any balance. how I can get my PF details.

Most epf offices have their website in which we can find out the establishment code...just type employee provident fund followed by your city name and google will list the epf site pertaining...

I was working for DSS Mobile communications Chennai in 1998. I am trying to locate the establishment code of DSS. I am not getting any info from the epf chennai site's establishment code search engine. Any help on this would be appreciated!! Any DSS veterans out there can you advise whether DSS was under the tamilnadu PF jurisdiction or was it under Delhi?

Pl file RTI application as suggested in this blog. If ICICI LOMBARD has not forwarded your application to PF Office, then you can directly file with concerned PF office by visiting EPFO. Pl check if ICICI group is having PF Trust as an approved employer. If it is so, you have to follow with this trust only. In case of delay, U can lodge complaint with PF Office under whose jurisdiction HO of ICICI LOMBARD is situated. u can get address on said website. all the best.

I have quit my previous organisation and had requested for a closure of my PF which was sent to HDFC bank in Bangalore, the bank has lost the cheque and has asked me to send a letter from them requesting for a re-issue now I have not heard from the PF office for over 2 months. Can you pls help. I have been trying to contact them via phone but to no avail. Pls help. My PF No. is MH/BAN/45665/18701.

I got the Income tax refund with a wrong name. They given the cheque on my citibank account number. When I deposited Citibank rejected that cheque but not sent the cheque back to me. May I know what is the procedure to request the Income tax department to ask to resend with the correct name/
Do I need to ask for the rejected Cheque from Citi bank?

Due to some service-related dispute during my service in the previous organisation that I was working until Aug 2004, I was told that the PF accumulated for close to 2 years of my service would be settled ' 'along' with the full and final settlement'. Since the dispute has since remain unsettled, my PF has not been processed, as the company insists on resolving the dispute first and then PF and other dues would be taken care of.

I would like to know..

a> How can I now proceed with claiming my PF under these circumstances? I understand from many other sources that PF has got nothing to do with my outstanding dues with the organisation

b> Will I have to go through my employer only to have the dues settled?

Daniel, bank is bound to credit the cheque or return the same with reasons to the account holder. PL file complaint with the bank and obtain cheque and then send back to IT Dept. For bank problem pl visit jps50 blog at www.bighelpers.org

I m a retired Airforce officer who is working for a private company, My company cuts provident fund from my pay.Is there any way I do not pay Provident Fund because as and when I leave the company, they do not give certificate for me to withdraw the money from the account.

I have applied for the PF refund in October 2008 and till date i have not received any. When i inquired with the organization i worked for, they said they had already submitted the application and there is a delay from PF office. When i checked the RTI application for provident fund in ur blog, there is a statement saying that we need to enclose the photocopy of the application form which i dont have.

currently i'm residing in Bangalore but the PF office to which my ex employer is associated is maharashtra kandivali office. I called them many a times but no one is picking the call. Can you please guide me thru what process should i follow,

If a person withdraw his P.F what amount will he be paid if the contribution is of Employee12% and employeer 12%.He will get 12+3.67% and 8.33%.Service period more than 1 year or only 12+3.67% please confirm.
