If your ordinary application is long pending with any government dept or office or you are not getting satisfactory replies or action, or bribe is being demanded, you can lodge application under THE RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT and ask for following information/papers.

Please file more than one RTI if it exceeds word limit of your State.

For Central Govt it is 500 words, excluding addresses.

For Karnataka and Maharashtra there is limit of 150 words for queries and information on only one subject can be sought per application.

    I have rec. a letter fromPF office Durgapur regarding my A/c settlement on 05.08.08 also rec. the cheque amount, cheque date but still they are not giving the despatch date of the cheque after repeated quaries. And till today i have not rec. my cheque.
    Pls. advise what is to be done

    It is to be filed with RTI appln to the PIO of the office where your matter is pending for long. For central govt offices, RTI appln format is on my blog. For state govt, you have to refer RTI rules of that state and they are posted in GUIDE section as to format and fees.

    Pl retry. It is opening from my end. U can save on your computer and then use it.

    I had applied for transfer of my PF amount from previous company (New Horizons India Limited, Bangalore) to my present company (Exilant Consulting Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore). My previous company's HO is in New Delhi and hence my PF Account is in New Delhi. The first 2 letters in PF Account No. is DL. Please advise me on the procedure for transfering the PF Amount to my present company.

    as per the advice from rti forum, i tried to give application regarding my certificates... but the college authority is not accepting.according to them they will accept the application only after i hand over them the money. i tried to lodge a complain to the university regarding cancellation of my registration. but according to them they need the permission of the college which the college is never going to give.if i dont cancel my registration i shall be issueed an NFT... which will bar me from studying further... plz help!!!!

    Sanjayji, pl visit EPFO and also blogs of taurus on this portal for pf transfer.
    Rava, U can send RTI appln through registered ad post to PIO with appln fee.

    Fantastic. Great work, keep it up jps50ji.

    By the way, I think the problem that people are facing while opening the file LONG PENDING.pdf.pdf, could be because the file name contains .pdf extension two times.

    I feel if you change the name of the file the problem should get resolved and members will benefit from this excellent draft.

    The other way around is to download the file, save it to a location on your hard disk, right click on the file, in the menu select Open With Adobe Reader.

    Dear Sir My self shailendra from raipur, i m facing problem in withdrawing PF from my previous compony, as my FNF is still pendind,

    can we withdraw our PF without clearing FNF. kindly suggest how and to whom should i send the form, my previous compony head office is located in mumbai, kindly send form also for withdrwaing the PF
