i belong to prakasam district. i want to apply for tatkal passport .where should i submit the application form. (sp office or regional passport office vijayawada) what are the documents required for applying for tatkal passport.how much amount should i pay ,(DD OR DIRECT CASH) in how many days can i get the passport.

some one are saying that to apply for tatkal i should submit an verification letter from SP .some one are saying that superindent of poice (SP) OF PRAKSAM DISTRICT had canceled the tatkal scheme in his district. did SP has an authority to cancel the tatkal scheme or only the passport issuing officials had that authority
