The RTI Act coming into effect from 2005 from the parliament with good intention to promote
good governance , transparency in adminstration , to combat the corruption
But the original act was enacted by parliament
The state governments are introducing new rules
several times , it will weak the strength of the act , what is the fate of the act we dont know , it is the freedom given to citizens
In karnataka , rule was introduced by the government the applicant can seek the information on only one subject and the words uses must be within 150 , But they have not defined what is the meaning of one subject and what is meant by 150 words
In Uttar pradesh , recently they have introduces some new rules to the act , rti activists protested but there is of no use
The original significance of the act is diluted by state goventments , How the governments can achive without impleting the RTI ACT 2005 Properly , This Act is right of every citizen
Please save RTI Act 2005 by without any amendments
proposed by the bureaurcrats in the parliament
Every one of the nations should struggle to resist any modification or amendement to original act
Bureaucrats instead of inplementing the act , they are triying to ammeding the act , finally the act may become weak
Thanking you

can a state govt amend the RTI act which is born child of Parliament. This should be highlighted in different forums otherwise they will damage the law.Posted 06-21-2009 at 09:21 PM by dillip kumar mohapatra
