Will all the hype bear fruit in real money terms?

Posted 08-05-2008 at 11:45 PM by sarjan
Indo-nuclear deal is spoken about by many people across the world. How much good will it be for India? Indians are divided on the issue. How much are we going to pay for the fuel? If the dollar loses value the govt will face the same crisis that the IT cos. are now facing. Why can we not develop solar energy which will involve high investment initially but will have negligible recurring expenditure which is not the case with the terms of the present deal. If the deal is for the good of the country why was there so much hush-hush about the terms and conditions of the deal and why is there such a rush-rush to get it through before Bush finishes his term as Prez of USA?
Many questions arise but I know none of them will be answered.
God save India. As an industrialist said India has developed despite the politicians running the government.
Is anybody paying attention?
