1. On the last date of hearing, on 19.06.2008, the Respondent had brought out that specific response to Items 9-14 cannot be provided, since the case was in progress in the Civil Court, Samrala. The Complainant was not present and he was given an opportunity to present his case and bring out his observations/comments on the information provided so far.
2. During the proceedings it emerges that the Appellant submitted his observations vide his letter dated 09.07.2008 to the Commission. The Appellant states that he has not received any response on the observations/comments sent by him.
3. It is noted with concern that the Respondent is unable to justify the reasons for non supply of information. It is, therefore, directed :-
a) The Respondent will provide response to the observations submitted by the Complainant vide his letter dated 09.07.2008 and also supply the deficient information specifically relating to Para 9 to 14, unless exempt under Section 8 of the RTI Act, of his original request dated 05.09.2008.

b) The Respondent will submit detailed response for the delay in providing information by 05.09.2008.
4. To come up on 11.09.2008 at 2.00 PM.
5. Announced in the hearing. Copies be sent to both the parties and Chairman PSEB for taking necessary cognizance for delay in supply of response by the PIO.
