Our grievances was that, the lower rank police official has presented a biased report to A P Human Rights Commission, Hyderabad without considering our evidences (174 pages) related to false private criminal complaint filed against my husband and another person and representations were submitted in this regard to the Director General of Police – AP, Hyderabad, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, in July and August 2010. As they have failed to respond our grievance representation, the matter was placed before your Hon’ble Office of President of India and Governor of Andhra Pradesh, so that, a proper inquiry will conducted and necessary action will taken and justice is done to us as well as my husband and other person.

When the representations of us are forwarded through proper channel to concern officials, officials do not respond on the status of the representation. We are forced to use RTI act and still the officials fail to resolve the issue and gave irrelevant information etc. The Home department Govt of Andhra Pradesh had issued two memos to the DGP office, but they have not sent us the copies, in absence of the same we are unable to know what exact instructions given to the DGP office on the matter.

The lower rank police official again presented the same report to the Dy. Commissioner of Police (West Zone), Hyderabad. The same has been forwarded to us, without taking any decision on the matter. The grievances representation was not read properly by the officials have given a routine reply under RTI Act. This is the respect they have to the laws and other acts as well as to the Office of First Citizen of India and State.

A First Appeal has filed before the Appellate Authority against PIO decision for giving imcomplete and irrelavant reply. We do not expect a proper reply from the FAA also and appealing before SCIC is nothing but filing a case before High Court etc. which will take years to get resolved. Cases from 2009 are pending before the AP State Information Commission.

As per police matter is still under investigation and collection of evidences since more than a year. Police officials collected evidences from us and suppressed the facts. Above all there is no time limit in the law for filing the chargesheet. Police Commissionerate slogan is good and attractive, but we feel it suits only to the employees under the commissionerate not to citizens.
