    You need to first make a representation about this victimization for seeking information to the head of your public authority, and if you do not get redressal of your grievance in a reasonable time limit (say 1 month), you will have to move to court.

      I am Kailash Chandra Panda a BSNL employee in Koraput Telecom District of Orissa. I have been asking information from BSNL in RTI. I am posted at the 'Help Desk' since 21.07.2010. But till date i.e. as on 18.06.2011 there is no such 'Help Desk'.Now my salary for the month of May 2011 is held up by the Accounts Officer telling that I am absent from duty. Please suggest what to do now. I have been paid salary upto April 2011. I have asked particulars of the 'Help Desk' in RTI also on 28.05.2011 to CPIO, BSNL Bhubaneswar.

      you just do one thing that if you have already gone for the r.t.i so you have to wait for the 30 days after 30 days you can go for the first appeal to the same office.

      Very good decision.

      Rules, sub-rules should enable one to raise complaint with nearest authorities and essentially with CIC all the time when this harassment occurs.

      RTI should be an effective means to put an end to corruption, neo-corruption, innovations, different shades of this dragon once for all.

      If there is no Help Desk, how could they post you. You write to your employer expalining the situation and send it by regd post or personal delivery against acknowledgement and get the reply. I f the reply is not received, follow up under RTI and also move to the High court simultaneously.
