Downloads: Air India to disclose complimentary ticket details

Applicant had asked for various information related to complimentary tickets issued by Air India. Information was denied under Sec 8(1)(d). In second appeal, CIC agreed with the denial except for the rules governing issue of complimentary tickets.

Matter went to Delhi High Court and the single judge ruled that information requested cannot be denied under Sec 8(1)(d).

Air India appealed to a division bench of the Delhi HC and now the division bench has also ruled that the information sought must be given.
