Privacy Policy - TOS - Forum Rules - Disclaimer

Once you have read our policy kindly remember few things:

1. Therefore RTI India is a community Portal. Each post by the member of RTI India is a treasure of this website; be it a question or the answer. And the content becomes the property of the RTI India Portal and would not be deleted modified except by non-conformity of RTI India policy.
2. Your account would not be deleted at any circumstances from RTI India, except if decided by RTI India Team on administrative ground. You may opt out by non participation, but any post, thread or content would not be deleted only because you ask as for.
3. RTI India is not an organization nor is it meant to demean any Government or the Ministry or the organization nor it is meant for crusade against the Government. Also RTI India does not support any campaign against corruption or does any movement against the Government, Organization, Ministries, Department, Units, Government Officers, Government Servants, or any Official or individual citizen. We strongly discourage any posts content propagating the same and we actively pursue moderating such posts made by members of RTI India.
4. This place is only and only meant in a very strict sense to help citizens and others in the rightful interpretation of Act and helping in the queries they have, by the shared resource of the members at large. We have not visualized this place to go beyond this and would never let that happen. Kindly refrain from posting such content which speak against the person, Government, Ministry, Office or the officers. Anyways too, if our posts go in furthering good governance, we are happy to let that happen; this implies that we mean the system and not the person.
5. As a condition of your use of this Web site and the interactive services contained therein, you represent and warrant to RTI India that you will not use this Web site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms, conditions, and notices.
6. This Web site contains one or more of the following interactive services: bulletin boards, chat areas, news groups, forums, communities and/or other message or communication facilities.   You agree to use such services only to send and receive messages and material that are proper and related to the particular service, area, group, forum, community or other message or communication facility. In addition to any other terms or conditions of use of any bulletin board services, chat areas, news groups, forums, communities and/or other message or communication facilities, you agree that when using one, you will not:

   7. Download for distribution in any manner any file posted by another user of a forum that you know, or reasonably should know, cannot be legally distributed in such manner.
   8. Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others.
   9. Falsify or delete any author attributions, legal or other proper notices, proprietary designations, labels of the origin, source of software or other material contained in a file that is uploaded.
   10. Restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying any of the bulletin board services, chat areas, news groups, forums, communities and/or other message or communication facilities.
7. RTI India has no obligation to monitor the bulletin board services, chat areas, news groups, forums, communities and/or other message or communication facilities. However, RTI India reserves the right at all times to disclose any information deemed by RTI India necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, or to edit, refuse to post or to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part.
8. You acknowledge that communications to or with bulletin board services, chat areas, news groups, forums, communities and/or other message or communication facilities are not private communications, therefore others may read your communications without your knowledge. You should always use caution when providing any personal information about yourself or your children. RTI India does not control or endorse the content, messages or information found in any bulletin board services, chat areas, news groups, forums, communities and/or other message or communication facilities and, specifically disclaims any liability with regard to same and any actions resulting from your participation. To the extent that there are moderators, forum managers or hosts, none are authorized RTI India spokespersons, and their views do not necessarily reflect those of RTI India.
