query is i bought a flat 400 sqr ft with Janaadhan Subha, at Atiblele last year in january 2012, my registration was done at the sub register office in Basungudi. I was sceptical, since the respresentative informed me that receipt would be provided by the office, when i come to collect the sale deed, i did pay in cash. On Jan 5th, i was informed that there was no receipt for the same at the office and it was government charges. registration, stamp duty should cover, what is this additonal fee, will this b bribe. the 2nd query Do the builders have to get my Flat khata transfer done ? appreciate your guidance on the same.

  6. Dear Shaun,

You can seek photocopies of documents from the Municipal Corporation of your ward.

I am unable to attach any sample RTI application here, therefore I would kindly request you to post your query on the forum link "Ask for RTI Query" and then send me a private message providing a link to that thread / page where you have posted your query, so that I can guide you further.
  7. Hi Abhi,

I have purchased a flat in DB realty's project @ Mumbai. I have been given soft possession for Interior work in my flat. The problem is, Builder has give Kitchen platform in wrong direction and of small size. i have space in my kitchen to extend my service platform which i can use it as main platform. However builder is not allowing me to do so by saying, it will create problem in getting OC from BMC. Actually it should not create any issue as i am not doing any structural change to the building nor breaking or removing any wall. Builder himself changed the platform size and direction for some of his influential clients. Actually i was shown a sample flat with modified kitchen at the time of purchasing. I want to file and RTI query at BMC and ask them the question/get the confirmation from them that my plan of extending the kitchen platform. I am not converting dry area in kitchen. It will remain as it is.

Pls. help me in filing a RTI application to BMC.
    Thanks.
    Shaun
