    Re :- Compensation provision under RTI Act 2005 & decisions on 2nd Appeal by
    SIC Maharashtra (Konkan Bench).

    I have read Final Decisions for May 2010 of SIC Maharashtra (Konkan Bench) & interesting thing I noted that in more than 50 % cases SIC has ordered compensation between Rs.30/- to Rs.100/- towards courtfee & postage & for suffering due to no proper action by PIO/FAA. And these Rs.30/- or 100/- to be paid by PA by cheque to Appellant & send by post & further report to commision.

    In some of the cases Appellant have attended hearing at SIC after a journey of 400 kms or more & must have suffered lot of inconvinience in travel, but not being compensated for the same. On other hand PIOs & FAAs travel by Govt vehicle & fetch hefty T.A. & D.A. bills

    And pity thing is no PIOs or FAAs are questioned about the delay & negligence. In only one case penalty of Rs.500/- has been imposed under clause 20 (a) of RTI Act irrespective of delay of number of days calculations

SINCELAST 5 (FIVE) YEARS I WAS ASKING FOR SOME INFORMATION FROM MY CHS BUT ON ALL OCCASION DEPRIVED OF MY RIGHT UNDER BY_LAW 32 .DEPUTY REGISTRAR HAD ALSO INSTRUCTED TO AVAIL ME REQUIRED INFORMATION AS PER ABOVE LAW.

SINCE I DID NOT SUCCEED , I APPLIED TO DEPUTY REGISTRAR UNDER RTI. wHO IN REPLY TO MY APPLICATION ASKED ME TO GET INFORMATION FROM SOCIEYY AS PER PROVISION OF BY-LAWS & MCS ACT 1960.

i PREFERED TO GO TO APPEAL, WHERE FAA DIRECTED DY.REGISTRAR
