Never attach your own pendrive or Ext HDD to computers of any Public Authority . There is a chance that you may be blamed later for things like Infecting their system , data crash , data theft etc. Just ask for data on diskette .

Reply to your specific query : RTI Applicant has to be an Indian Citizen . He is not required to give reasons for seeking information . He may use the received information for any legitimate purpose .

I think it is a case of TYPING ERROR . The Order tends to have same effect on AA as the RTI sufferer may have wished . AA may have to approach the High Court for getting the Order quashed . What can not be done directly ...............
