Bombay Mirror reported that RTI ACT is being tried to be diluted.
It stated that citizens should write to Prime Minister and Smt. Sonia Gandhi in protest and request for its implementation by further strengthening it.
Can any one provide the format of the same

Does the CPIO /CAPIO act independantly of the duties he/she is performing under the public authority?

While acting as CAPIO/CPIO he acts under the public authority or the CIC?

The story is shocking.
The CPIO has forwarded a routine request to another public authority stating it to be an appeal under RTI Act.
Not only this the CPIO has stated that the required fee has been deposited and encashed.
THIS A WELL DEFINED MISUSE OF ASSUMED AUTHORITY BY CPIO.
WHAT ACTION SHOULD BE TAKEN?
