Sir, could you please advice me on my post in chit chat section dated 10-07-2011, 05:42 PM?

Respected Sir,

I am a house owner in ahmedabad. i have one tenant i give two room in my house. there was one bsnl landline in same place which was disconnected and not on my tenant's name but on other's name as a proprietor. i want to request bsnl to give me information about phone bills when line was connected and xerox copy of application and document sumbited with application. Could I get the information from bsnl as a owner as there was no rent agreement was made with the phone owner's name than how they give the connection. please give us some ideas regarding so i can take infomation regarding telephone and i take copy from bsnl.

dear sir, i was referring only to questions which can be answered with a simple yes or no; not all questions come under this class. when you are asking for information , it is not entirely possible to avoid questions but leading questions make the job of the PIO easy and help him to evade the issue

Thanks, I recieved your massage. But my question is unsolved yet, I would be happy if they answared in 'Yes' or 'No'
But they denied by Saying - " These are questions, not related with information"
You suggested rephrasing of my question as follows-
" What is the status----------?"
This sentance is also Interogative for them, because this has also question mark, so it makes no difference for them & they could reply simply " This is a question----"
So my unsolved question is this -" Can they reply like this?"

Thanks to post reply of my question, You have given the example for a hypothetical question, Still there are thousands of questions, answars of which can not be given by any one in yes or no ( not under RTI, in routine)for example -
One person asks another( Who is not a begger)-
" Have you rid off begging?"
Now what can he say, Yes or No?
But in my case my brother asked -
1. Have you complied the cadre restructuring orders issued by Rly Bds. in 1998 & 2003?
In addittion to the above many querries raised like this, but they denied saying " These are questions, not related with information"
Please tell me can they say like this?
