Disposal of Application:
If information does not pertain to that authority, it will return the application between 15 to 30 days, in Form B and the application fee will NOT be refunded
Rejection of application will be in Form C between 15 to 30 days
Information to be provided in Form D between 15 to 30 days of application receipt
FEES for Public Authorities under the Arunachal Pradesh RTI Rules:
Application Fee (Sec 6(1))
Information related to Tender Documents/Bids/Quotation/Business Contracts – Rs. 500.00 per application
All other type of information – Rs. 50.00 per application
Fees to be paid by remittance to Head of Account: “0070 – Other Administrative Services”
Further Fees (Sec 7(1), 7(3), 7(5))
If information is available in a published form – as per price declared
If information is not provided or rejection is not communicated within 30 days, a penalty of Rs. 50.00 per day subject to a maximum of Rs. 500.00 will be levied
If the information supplied is false, the penalty shall be Rs. 1000.00
First Appeal Rules & Procedure:
The First Appeal to The First Appellate Authority has to be as per the following guidelines:
Appeal within 60 days if no reply is received in Form B or Form C
Appeal within 30 days if not satisfied of the response received
