  1. Re: RTI in UTI Bank

    Dear Sidarth,

Don't ever be in a state of despair. That will only cloud your thinking. There are lots of people here ready to help you out and point the right way, eventhough you might have considered the situation hopeless. Remember there is always light at the end of every tunnel.

I am of the opinion that UTI bank is P.A. under RTI. indirectly it is substancially financed and/or controlled by Central G overment. I may refer to the recent full bench CIC decesion to hold that all stock exchanges are P.A. under RTI,though i note that said decesion is challenged in Delhi H C.

    narayanvarma sir,

In that case, will you also please give your opinion along with justification as to :

If subsidiaries of Public Sector Banks which run Credit Card businesses are also a PA's ?

If they are PA's, many many citizens will be able to resolve their problems.

    Karira,

Regarding the credit card subsidiaries of public sector banks, I had already suggested a line of approach in my post No.17 under the thread: Is it possible to ask information from a public Limited company. It appears that so far nobody has utilised this line of approach.

I fully agree with GANPAT.Subsidiary of any Public authority has to be taken as covered as indirectly it is FINANCED/CNTROLLED by govermennt
