when organisation fail to implement RTI in their organisation?

My query relates to complain procedure with CIC when organisation fail to implement RTI in their organisation?
Is there any form or prescribed format available for making direct complains to the CIC regarding non-implementation of RTI in organisations.

If you are 100% sure that a particular Public Authority has not implemented RTI in their organisation, straightaway shoot a complaint letter to CIC. You can even send your complaint through email. In terms of Sec. 18 (1) of the RTI Act, it shall be the duty of the CIC/SIC to receive and inquire into a complaint from any person.

    sidmis,

For making a complaint to CIC/SIC under section 18, 1 of the RTI Act, there is no fee prescribed. Fees have to be only paid alongwith a application for information. Just send a email or a letter to CIC/SIC (depending against which PA you want to complain about) with the heading "Complaint under section 18(1) of RTI Act 2005" carefully naming the organisation and stating some brief points as to why you think that the PA has not implemented the act.

    Hello sidmis,

You must have UTI Bank in mind while making this posting?
Am I right? Then why not apply to CIC on this?

Before doing that please send a questionnair to the Bank's Head Office address to :
    The Public Information Officer
    UTI Bank Limited,
    131, Maker Tower - F,
    Cuffe Parade,
    Colaba,
    Mumbai - 400 005.

State Bank of Patiala is a major defaulter in this regard .

Check out the website of the bank State Bank of Patiala

and further the following webpage :-

State Bank of Patiala - Blending Modernity with Tradition

Nuthing more than bare details of PIO's, no addresses given !

I think i will send them an RTI application regarding disclosures under

Section 4 of the RTI Act .

The format for the same was saved my me from this forum and is attached.

    Ny suggestions ?

It is better to make higher authorities aware of the situation. If they agree implimentation will be fast. otherwise file a complaint.
