    A Government servant is also a citizen of India...and therefore can use the RTI Act.
    In fact, I read somewhere that the maximum apllications under the RTI Act are from Government Servants themselves.

    I did not receive any further reply from Adv.Nigam, Legal Advisor of CIC after he replied me pleading ignorant of existance of any such orders. I have seen various views expressed by different Activists in various forums. But unable to know the present legal position authentically.
