    The thread starter statement that if proper auditing is done the need for RTTi does not arise is not a correct concept and auditing is done for the completed projects/works and RTi is meant for avoiding delay,rether questioning the delay and also questioning the unwanted expenditure and there by reducing the burden of the Auditor.

    Right to Information would lead to openness in the administration as the citizens would get information about various issues and would, thus, promote transparency in the Government, increasing the efficiency of the Government by making officers accountable and ultimately reducing the corruption, if not eliminating the same totally.
