    Good initiative, if not challenged in Court.

    Nothing great about reiterating something that is obligatory under the RTI Act.

    In fact the officers who have disobeyed an Act passed by Parliament should be punished.

    Sec 4(1)(b)(x)

    (x) the monthly remuneration received by each of its officers and employees, including the system of compensation as provided in its regulations;

    But the fact is that the initiative is eye wash, as this disclosure is only for regular lecturers and not permanent lecturers.
    In all most all colleges without exception, in particular Engineering colleges, the college gets the account of such part time/temporary lecturers in the campus bank attached, credit a sum of Rs.25,000/- or more, take the ATM Card, their management representative withdraws Rs.10,000/- minimum in the account, and balance will be left to the lecturer's account.
    To convert the high denomination notes, some colleges deputed their students on buses and dropped them before banks and exchanged such notes through them.
    When a similar issue was posted, for guidance, I have advised him to collect CCTV footage of ATM and shockingly the member has informed me that amount is withdrawn from that ATM where CCTV cameras were not installed. In some cases, as per RBI directives, such CCTV cameras were installed and they may not function at all.
    At the end of this, those who are getting exploited failed to get a solution out of this drama.
