Take it granted, the time the decision comes out, they will be completing the term. In such cases, how the retirement and other benefits are to be treated remains a question

Supreme Court has upheld the order of the AP High Court.
Appointments of these 4 ICS - Vijaya Nirmala, Lam Tantya Kumari, Varre Venkateshwarlu & Imtiaz Ahmed have been quashed.

I am sure that they will file a review ptition in the SC.

What a long battle has it been for me.......starting with this protest 4.5 years ago:

Now, it is left to them as they respect verdict and reisgn or still fight a lasting battle with RP, as SC has agreed with HC.. But can these persons claim respect from subordinates and appellants with their back door entry now became a Public.

It is a great news for the forum, as our Hon.CJ Karira lead the movement from front. Hope this verdict become a precedent in future. Atleast the authorities think twice before taking such steps.
    What about CIC appointments ?

Attached is the 3 line order of the Supreme Court.

It took 4 years for the 3 line order........and all the time these 4 ICs enjoyed their salary & privileges.

State CIC Rattan demits office next week.
Only person left is IC Vijay Babu.
He also demits office in mid May 2017.

After that it is Bye Bye RTI in AP & Telangana.

When IC Vijay Babu becomes the State CIC, members would like to read the Bio-Data he submitted at the time
    of seeking appointment as IC.

    Enjoy !

17 Advocates for Respondents. The minimum fees for each Advocate as I know are Rs.4 lakhs, that makes the entire cost Rs.68 lakhs.
Who has paid the bills, whether it is debited to Govt. Account ?
Look and do not be depressed, those who can appoint more than a dozen advocates can also fail, if there is no substance in the appeal.

Now, I am more worried about pending appeals as there is a practice of bundling all pending appeals and then consigning them to unknown place and they never get hearing opportunity, and even if you visit APIC several times, there is no one to tell as to what happened to those second appeals. Bifurcation further complicated the issue, as one can blame the other. (Now despatch dept blames Registry, Registry blames despatch and both explain the duties to appellants, without informing the way to trace those appeals. Now they may ask AP appellants to seek Telangana, and Telangana wants them to search in APIC)
    God Save the KING.

An interesting twist, SIC is not bifurcated, if all the four has to vacate, who can appoint IC (AP or Telangana), so all pending appeals are to be delayed further few years, a hay day for PIOs. Congratulations.

So, if someone did not get the ICs illegal appointment quashed we are damned.....if he did get the appointments quashed , we are still damned !

    Hon CJK,
We are highly " graceful" to you and gone through the biodata attachment,
Let us congratulate the Journalist, for boldly admitting his loyalties to congress so many times
in his application as the only qualification for appointment as IC in State Commission"

Infact, we have been expecting a Flash news that all ICs will submit resignations as a face saving design, may be CMS will make a formal request or Hon Governor is "graced" to request them further till such time they find alternate replacement.
As far as AP is concerned, appellants never considered the existence of such APIC, as it was never functional. APIC was in the news not because of their decisions but it was only ICs struggle/ fight with authorities over protocol, respect to decisions, meeting Governor asking him to direct authorities to give due respect to IC, their transport, their arrangements for stay etc.
Yadharaja Tadha Praja--So as the ruler, so as the ruled... Visit APIC tomorrow, observe when they opens their office, observe PIOs loitering around MM cursing their fate, observe the way and the time ICs come to their office, experience the politeness and courtesy of such employees including security and then place your findings as your experiences with APIC.
If some thing happens to us, we bend our heads with shame, and do not show our faces for long, I am surprised how they can continue functioning even when SC has refused to open and read their file.
