Rules of private road width
Sir, our residential ancestral property was devided between four parties equally leaving 12feet width road from North direction. The deviation took place in front of a village amin and some villagers on paper. Now the 1st party whose share is near to Main road wants to disturb link street road as at some point 12 feet and suddenly at another point 9feet. This will leave the actual road as 9 feet and not 12feet as mentioned in deviation deed. He is citing his previous combined exchange of 3feet land with our neighbour. So what is the validity of his claim as per law. Can he change road position?

This issue amounts to easement rights, and parties are not supposed to change the written down agreements, as per their likes. Immediately contact advocate, and get injunction.
This is not RTI issue, RTI is not a solution for this, and getting permanent injunction is the only remedy.
