  1. Is builder liable to take rate of super carpet area from buyer


    I had purchased a flat from Shri Radha aqua garden greater Noida sec 16B UP in Feb 2016 and the carpet area of this flat is only 750 sq feet but builder has charged the rate of super carpet area as 1050 sq feet. Is builder is legally right to take amount of super carpet area. Please describe the matter and quote rule also with solution.

    This forum is dedicated for guiding citizens in seeking information from public authorities under RTI Act, and members of the forum are not competent to quote the rule and solutions of individual transactions with private entities like builders. Read the agreement betweeen the building, get the certified copy from approved surveyor and issue a notice under CP Act, and then file complaint before District Consumer Forum for recovery of such amount overcharged by builder.
