Thread: Hello From Me, Max

  1. Hello From Me, Max

I worked in Calcutta through the High Court in a number of "rights" cases. This was a long time ago 1980 onwards, on Calcutta Trusts, cemeteries, schools, etc. We did not have the RTI act then to help us out..

This is truly quite a good tool to work with and I am sure with so many good people guiding the campaigners, that this RTI act will help to make things change.

I was associated with RTI Manch, Calcutta, at thier very first meeting this year attended by Arun Kejriwal. Unfortunately I had to return to UK on family matters but I am glad I have found this forum to keep alive my interest and allow me train myself (through this help) so I can be better equippped when I get back to India.

At present, I was asked to join the campaign group on the murder of the young man Rizwanur Rahman, and I have been posting advice to use the RTI act to get some answers and to further the campaign..
