Pravin's in-camera testimony out of public domain till 2027
The Pramod Mahajan murder trial took an interesting turn on Friday when the accused, Pravin Mahajan, went under oath to give a testimony in his own defence. Pravin's version of what happened at the BJP leader's apartment here on April 22, 2006, before the gun shots were fired will be out of the public realm till 2027 because the proceeding was declared in-camera by court.
Those who want to know what Pravin told judge Srihari Daware behind closed doors will have to wait for at least 20 years until they can lay their hands on a copy of his statement.
