  1. Thumbs up Need Address of Aurangabad commissionor of RTI

    I am living at Bhusawal, Dist Jalgaon, Maharashtra.
    I am persuing a matter through RTI related to a Co-operative
    urban credit society with the Asst registor (A.R.) co-op
    Department. On his answer I was not satisfied so
    I filled a application under RTI to the District Appilate
    Authority ( D.D.R.). They had arranged a hearing in this matter
    & called both the parties for hearing. I was present but the A.R or
    his office bearers was ubsent for hearing. The DDR had not passed
    any order on that day.

    Now I want to take the matter to the state level.
    So I need the address of Commissionor Of RTI, Aurangabad.

    By searching on the net I found his name as
    but unable to got his office address
    Can anybody help me

    Try to complete the First Appeal procedure first, before going to the level of SIC.

    Write another letter to the DDR (the First AA) and remind him to pass the order with reference to your first appeal and give you a copy. Once you have the copy of the order, the due procedure will be complete for the Second Appeal before the SIC. Please remember that the First Appeal has to be disposed of within 45 days maximum (Section 19(6) of the RTI Act):

    6.An appeal under sub-section (1) or sub-section (2) shall be disposed of within thirty days of the receipt of the appeal or within such extended period not exceeding a total of forty-five days from the date of filing thereof, as the case may be, for reasons to be recorded in writing.

    The RTI Rules for Maharashtra are attached (I do not know if there have been any changes to these...please recheck).
