    'TYPO' in CIC Decision

It seems that appeal no. Appeal No. CIC/WB/A/2007/00219 dated 28-2-2007, Shri D.D. Maheshwari vs. Union Public Service Commission (U.P.S.C) has been decided one day in advance.

    Or is it a typo?

"The appeal was heard on 28-1-2008. The following are present."

"The appeal is thus partly allowed. Reserved in the hearing, the decision is announced
today the 29th day of January 2008."

Notice of this decision be given free of cost to the parties.

I don't find anything strange here. Pronouncement of the decision would have been reserved for the next day after the hearing was completed on 28.01.2008.
Defeat is not final when you fall down. It is final when you refuse to get up.

What is strange is that the decision was posted on 28th not 29th.
Does it mean that the CIC has signed this decision "Post Dated"?

  4. Re: 'TYPO' in CIC Decision

Are you sure it was posted yesterday itself or only this morning?

    Hello Members,

As per information received from Hon. CIC there is no typographical errors in this decision.

The decision was cleared after office hours on 28.1.'08 and sent for upload, but announced in the chambers only on 29.1.'08-hence that date.
