Please go through the earlier posts in this thread. We have been running this discussion for the last more than two years and I have merged posts # 51 to 56 with the main thread.

Defeat is not final when you fall down. It is final when you refuse to get up.

i think all organizations those come under jurisdiction, all covered. it is against the spirit of act to deny on technical matters after all they want to use information for public interest. and in a democracy public authorities are responsible to everybody. they govern nation on our behalf.

    Bhuvan,

Please read the full thread above. It has 6 pages.

Would suggest let the Director file the application in his personal name (do not mention designation) and on a plain paper. The address of the company can be given for correspondence purposes.

This will get you the information fastest and avoid all other issues - unless you want to prove a legal point.

It is better to seek information as an individual even though CIC has passed orders that associations and office bearers can seek information. Unfortunately many PIOs are not aware of this and your matter will go to first and second appeal thus delaying the process of information.

Remember that any citizen can ask for any information to any public authority.
He or She need not be connected to the matter on hand at all.

Fundamental rights of an employee are same as those of a non-employee citizen .
