    Unfortunately, my Marathi is non-existent.
Why don't you call the Andheri RTO at the numbers above and get the details.

Your application has to be as per the Maharashtra Rules which are attached to this post:

    pooja,

Court fee stamp is like a normal stamp but can be used only to pay court fees etc.
It is easily available from any stamp paper vendor outside courts and other offices.
You need to attach a court fee stamp of Rs. 10.00 to your application.
Please try to send it by Registered Post AD so that the AD card (after it comes back to you) acts as a proof of your submission.

Just call up and ask "Who is the PIO in your office?"

    Regional Transport Officer,
    111-D, Ambivali Village,
    Near Manish Nagar, Versova Road,
    Andheri (W) Mumbai 400 053. Mumbai (W)
    Tel.:
    26366957
    26362252
    26319821

Even if you do not know who is the PIO, visit the office personally with the RTI application and the fees and submit it by hand. Get a stamp and date on your copy.

Alternatively send the application by Registered Post AD or Speed Post and keep the receipt safely as proof of submission. The speed post can be tracked online and once it is delivered keep a print out of the delivery status for future use.

    Address the envelope to:

    State Public Information Officer (SPIO)
    under the RTI Act 2005
Office of the Regional Transport Officer (RTO)
    111-D,.......
    ................

Your RTI application has to be as per Maharashtra RTI Rules and Fees. These are available in the Guide segment of the forum:
    RTI Guide
