Best Practices in RTI and User Feedback

The CIC website (CIC) now has new links for:

    - Best Practices (to be used by PA's for submitting their best practices)
    - Feedback on Best Practices (for users to give feedback on best practices)

The links are available at the top of the main page. These are only for Public Authorities in the Central control.

This is a real welcome move and will bring into open good practices evolved by various PA's vis a vis RTI. It will give a chance to other PA's to adopt such best practices. Kudos to CIC.

The "user" who is considered as "King" by CIC and will have the last say.

Detailed press release by CIC can be seen at:

    http://www.cic.gov.in/PressRelease/PR-16042008.pdf

I would also like to suggest "worst" practices to be uploaded on to the CIC website.
Probably they want to start with the "best" before coming to the "worst".

That is a real good initiative. I am sure many of the PIo would put up their practices which would set an example for all of others.
