    Appeal time.

    Dear Sirs,
I have sought an information from the PIO NCC on 27.2.2008 & the information required was by e-mail. But till today i.e.25th April, no communication has been received by me.
Whether the Ist appeal time limit is still there?

    2 + 31 + 25 = 58 days since you made your application.

Still 2 days to go before you can file your first appeal. First appeal to be made within 30 days of receiving the reply from PIO or within 30 days from the date the reply was supposed to be received.

Ashok, my suggestion has always been "Avoid totally making a RTI request by email and asking for reply by email". Others on this forum have had different views. Please see:

    http://www.rtiindia.org/forum/3028-m...seriously.html

(Please read ALL posts and ALL links given in the above posts)

Especially read the following extensive thread:

    http://www.rtiindia.org/forum/1129-a...under-rti.html

I still stand by the views I expressed on 15 July 2007, in the above mentioned thread.

    Ashok,

Please wait for a few days more to account for postal delays before sending your appeal.
