Issues came during RTI Seminar: Cheque in whose favor!
I happened to attend one seminar on RTI wherein people asked about few questions. One issue was raised by Shri. Prabhat Kumar, Retd. IAS and Ex-cabinet Secretary that ,there is no mention of to whom the cheque has to be made in favor of while filling RTI application?
I checked up the Regulation and fee cost rule and it has clearly mentioned that the cheque should be made in favor of Account Officer of public authority.
I was just wondering if this is not known or confusion with others too!
Here is the circular also.
