Re: Pack Sizes - Whom to ask for information ?

    Karira,

    This is flawless.

Just curious, how the FAA will treat your citing the DoPT, Circular No. 10/23/2007 IR dated 9th July 2007. I am yet to get a positive response on this circular in any of my 1st Appeals.

But Don't delay it any further. After seeing this Addendum the FAA may try to wriggle out of it by just replying to your original 1st Appeal and ignoring this one.

A very well drafted letter I must say.

    Kariraji,

I came across a minor repeatition error while reading your addendum so I thought let me bring it to your notice.

    I have highlighted the error.

"Admit my First Appeal against the non reply of the CPIO and grant me relief as stated therein AND take into also take into account this ADDENDUM TO FIRST APPEAL which was necessitated due to the reply of the CPIO being sent to me AFTER the First Appeal has reached you."

Re: Pack Sizes - Whom to ask for information ?

    Update on this:

Date of RTI Application: 30 May 2008
Date of receipt in PA: 5 June 2008 (as per AD card)
    No reply from PIO
Date of First Appeal: 21 July 2008
Date of receipt of First Appeal: No date on AD Card
Date of reply from CPIO: 8th August 2008 stating that what I had asked for was not "information"
Date of Addendum to First Appeal: 19 August 2008
Date of reply from CPIO: 18 September 2008 giving incomplete, incorrect and misleading information. In fact on some points the PIO was lying through his teeth
Date of another First Appeal: 13 October 2008
Date of CPIO reply: 24th October 2008 stating that all material information has been provided to me vide letter dated 18 September 2008 (Letter dated 24 October, has some handwritten note 30 October and actually posted on 6 November)

    1. No First Appeal held ever in spite of filing 2 First Appeals.
    2. No First Appeal order ever passed.
    3. No letter ever signed by FAA - all letters always signed by the same CPIO

Now starting to prepare the strongest Second Appeal I can draft. This PIO/AA/PA needs to be taken to task.
