Hygiene living atmosphere

Hello dear,
I have been fighting with Pollution Control Board, MCD, Chief Minister's office, Office of the Commissioner of Industries, SDM Tuglakabad etc. etc. to atleast live in a peaceful atmosphere but all our requests goes invain.

We would like to draw your kind notice that -

a) 11 Nos. Heavy polluted Generators (Digital photographs are attached for ready reference) are being used at a time in building Nos.2817A & annexed building located in Street No.32 (Entrance from Street No.32), Tuglakabad Extension, New Delhi for commercial purposes (these buildings are covered in two streets i.e. street No.30 & 31 and is just back side of Building Nos.RZ-2686, 2687 & 2688 of Street No.29.

b) Regardless of Day & Night, motorised swing machines are functioning in the above above said Building No.2817A& annexed buildings.

c) A part of Street No.30 of Tuglakabad Extn. is extremely non user friendly and non-removeal of garbages creating mosquito breeding in the area.

d) One factory in basement of Building No.2817A/32 is creating heavy healthy problems as they are using gums & chemicals for making corrugated boxes. These gums & chemicals are using through rolling machines through heat and while giving heat to the gums & pastes, the smell omitted is untolerable and giving headache etc. etc.

e) childrens are fallen under illness regularly and yelders too.

f) All factories in the area are functioning under category No. NonF-27/33 as inspected by Delhi Pollution Control Agency and detailed inspection Reports were given to Office of the Commissioner of Industries and Chief Minister's office.

g) The Councellor in Tuglakabad Extn. (Ms.Poonam Bhati) assured us to remove all garbages & make the street user-friendly. But after one year of her assurances, neither garbages have been removed or make any effort to get the street user-friendly. We are unable to understand the usage of ALLOTED FUND TO COUNCELLOR in the area.

A GROUP OF ABOUT 60-70 FAMILIES ARE FACING HEALTHY PROBELMS BUT ALL GOVT. MACHINERIES ARE LOOKING IT AS A "LIFE-JOKE" TO THEM.

CAN RTI HELP US TO GET JUSTICE.

Regards,
V.C.jayaprakash

The fastest route available through RTI would be to ask for information regarding the :

1. Daily progress of your complaints
2. Names, etc. of Officers who have seen you complaint
3. Action taken by those officers who have seen your complaint
4. Inspection of all files realted to your complaints

The RTI can be filed with the PIO's of ALL the organistions to whom you have complained till now and who have not taken any action.

Simultaneously, if you know the Public Authority which grants permissions to the factories and commercial establishments, you can also file RTI's with them regarding the permissions given, how often are they supposed to inspect the establishments, etc.

The additional good way could be highlighting the issue , the way, you have done here , is by reporting it through the mass media.

Dear Karira,

All correspondences till date with all concerned Govt. Machineries are available with me.

Pollution Control Board had made inspection of the said building and submitted detailed inspection report (factorywise) to the Commissioner of Industries & Chief Minister's office.

The officials from the Commissioner of Industries are not taking any action because they are being included with MONEY by the factory owners & building owner. This is the secret of the fact.

Kindly advise further course of action through RTI so that we can act accordingly.

Regards,
V.C.Jayaprakash

Just follow the suggestion given in my post above - with all the authorities involved including the Office of the CM.

Add the following points also:

1. Provide me Certified copy of the inspection report of the PCB
2. What action has been taken based on the report of the PCB
3. Names, designations, addresses, office telephone numbers of all officers who are responsible for taking action based on the report of the PCB
4. Certified copy of the "Action Taken Report" of your department regarding the action taken based on the report of the PCB.

Just make a rough draft of your application and upload it here. Members will guide you regarding fine tuning it.

pathetic conditon of street due to negligent attitude of MCD Councilor & MLA

One portion of Street No.30, Tuglakabad Extn. New Delhi-19 is in a very pathetic condition due allocation of huge garbage, waste water etc. About 60 families with childrean residing in the side of the Street. MCD Councilor xxxxxxxxxi & MLA xxxxxxxxxxxx have no intention to get the street into user-friendly as the condition of the street is very well known to them. We are yet to know as to what purpose they are spending MCD fund allotted to them. Approx.200 mtr. street is only in pathetic condition for which they have no fund. Being our MLA is a Doctor, how can he justify the situation facing by the people residing nearby.

ONE DENGUE CASE WAS REPORTED FROM THIS AREA IN THE PAST MONTH, AS THE PATIENT WAS THE RESIDENT OF JUST BACK SIDE OF THIS PATHETIC STREET. IN THIS REGARD, I HAVE SENT A MAIL TO THE HELATH MINISTER BUT THAT MAIL ALSO WENT TO THE DUSTBIN.

Anybody can advise at to how we can save from the existing situation.

Regards,
VC Jayaprakash
